Getting started

Quickstart (admin onboarding)

A reproducible 30-minute path from a fresh tenant to your first extracted contract appearing in the workspace.

Before you start

  • You are a Global Admin (or have delegated admin rights) on your M365 tenant.
  • You have at least one signed PDF contract you can use for the first ingestion.
  • You have access to your tenant’s SharePoint where you keep contracts.

Step 1: Sign in

Go to https://app.clmspace.com and sign in with your work account using Microsoft single sign-on. The first sign-in from a tenant triggers a Microsoft Entra consent prompt for read-only access to the SharePoint libraries you will bind.

Step 2: Bind a SharePoint folder

  1. Open Dashboard, then Settings, then SharePoint bindings.
  2. Click Add binding. Choose a role: templates or agreements.
  3. Pick the folder via the browser. The folder is registered; intake picks it up on its next cycle (about 5 minutes) or you can click Poll now.
Start with Templates
Binding your standard templates first means the very first extracted obligations contribute to your Tier 1 playbook. Later contract extractions then have something to compare against.

Step 3: Watch the first extraction

After intake runs, open Dashboard, then Agreements. The new contract appears with its extracted obligations. Each obligation has a citation chip; click it to open the PDF viewer with the source span highlighted.

Step 4: Verify the first batch

Open Review queue. Verify (or override) each AI-proposed obligation. Anything you verify is from that point treated as authoritative and feeds your house view of standards.

Step 5: Sanity-check your playbook

Open Standards. You should see your Tier 1 positions building up from template extractions. Add User-entered positions where you want to overrule the AI-derived view. See Standards.

Confirm everything is healthy (optional)

From the workspace you can confirm your tenant is connected and processing: open Dashboard and check that bindings show a recent successful poll and that new agreements are flowing in. For programmatic integrations, approved clients authenticate with their issued credentials. See Authentication.
