Playbook administration
Market practice toggle
Per-tenant control over whether the Market Practice corpus participates in standards resolution.
Why a toggle exists
Some legal teams want the Market Practice corpus to surface and fill gaps. Others prefer the system to stay silent when their own playbook is silent, keeping third-party drafting suggestions out of view of negotiators.
The toggle is per-tenant, set under Settings, then Playbook prefs (and also accessible from the Standards page header).
Effect when disabled
- Market Practice entries are hidden from the Standards page.
- Standards resolution uses only your own Tier 1 and Tier 2 entries; where you have no position, the system reports that none is resolved rather than offering a market default.
- Drafting flows draw only on your own positions, and the user is told when no position is resolved for the current scope.
- Deviation detection flags against your own Tier 1 and Tier 2 entries.
API access
Approved integrations can set this preference per tenant. See the Playbook prefs API reference for the request shape.
Verified market entries are unaffected
Once you verify a market entry it becomes a Tier 1 user position verified from market. Those entries stay in your playbook even if the toggle is later disabled, because they are yours now.
